Aikido de la Montagne offers classes 7 days a week: aikido for adults, aikido for children and iaido. The dojo is located downtown Montreal at the south west corner of Park avenue and Pine avenue. Access by public transportation is convenient: bus lines 535, 80, 129 and 144 stop in front of the dojo. The nearest metro stations are Place-des-arts (5 minute walk) and Sherbrooke (15 minutes).

Affiliation

Aikido de la Montagne is a non profit association, founded in 1988 and affiliated to Hombu Dojo, aikido's world headquarters in Japan through the United States (East Coast) Aikido Federation (USAF).

Since its early days, several Grand Masters have provided generous support to Aikido de la Montagne. Two direct students of the Founder have been regular teachers at the dojo, namely Yoshimitsu Yamada, 8th dan, founder of New York Aikikai and Mitsunari Kanai, 8th dan, founder of New England Aikikai who came each season until his passing away in 2004 to direct Aikido and Iaido seminars.
