FEES

Beginners' courses are taught by Claude Berthiaume, chief instructor. This course lasts three months, with two 90 minutes courses per week. During the first month, students can only attend those two classes (taught Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm to 7:30pm). We strongly recommend that new students attend beginners' classes. However if your schedule doesn't allow you to train at those hours, we will try to redirect you to other classes. During the second month, students may also classes labeled for "FOR ALL".

During beginners' classes, students learn the basics of Aikido:

  1. Basic techniques

  2. Posture

  3. Footwork

  4. Ukemi (receiving the technique or falling)

  5. Etiquette

  6. etc.
